Art Opening & Artist Reception: Palestinian Artist Mohammad Al Jaloos

Join us in welcoming Mohammed Al Jaloos, a Palestinian artist (born in Jordan), to the Palestine Museum US for the opening of his solo exhibit featuring 24 watercolor pieces including paintings of Jerusalem and Nablus. Al Jaloos studied painting at the Jordan Institute of Fine Arts while completing his BA in Business Administration at the University of Jordan (1981).

Al Jaloos has exhibited his work throughout the world; some of the more notable venues include the French Cultural Center in Amman, the Musee Des Metiers De Mercure in Rochefort, France, the Ashtar Art Gallery in Damascus, Syria, the National Council for Culture, Arts, & Letters in Kuwait, and the Oman Society for Fine Arts in Salala, Oman.

A recent painting by Al Jaloos was selected to be part of the international project of "One Belt _One Road - the Silk Road Project in China 2019" by the ministry of culture & the National Academy of Painting in China
