The program begins at 3:00 PM US EDT; 20:00 UK; 21:00 Europe; 22:00 Palestine.
Dr Karameh is being arrested in Wash DC on May 21, 25 for speaking against Genocide at a congressional hearing.
Universities across the world silence the voices of anti-genocide healthcare students and obscure the reality of what affects our communities’ health. When our healthcare institutions refuse to speak on genocide, or worse yet, actively suppress discussion, it is our obligation as a community to educate ourselves so that we can put an end to the public health catastrophe of genocide.
On May 25th, join the Palestine Museum US for a community presentation to learn about how both healthcare professionals and the greater community can restore the humanity of our healthcare system. We will discuss the failures of global health, advocacy within our institutions, and how genocide is a matter of public health.
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Karameh Kuemmerle, a Palestinian-American pediatric neurologist and co-founder of the international organization, Doctors Against Genocide. This presentation will be available in-person and via live stream!
