Kuttab is co-founder of Nonviolence International and Al-Haq, the independent Palestinian human rights group. A well-known international human rights attorney, Jonathan is a graduate of the University of VA law school, and practices in the US, Israel and Palestine. Currently he is also executive director of Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA). He headed the legal committee negotiating the Cairo Agreement of 1994 between Israel and the PLO. Jonathan is a resident of East Jerusalem, where he is a partner of Kuttab, Khoury and Hanna Law Firm, and serves on the Board of Holy Land Trust. Jonathan’s articles have appeared in the Middle East Institute, Arab News, Arab Center Washington DC, Al Jazeera, the Electronic Intifada, and others. He provides analysis regarding international law and human rights and is a prominent speaker on nonviolence and the formation of one democratic state for Palestinians and Israelis, as articulated in his book, Beyond the Two-State Solution
