Palestinians and Israelis cheer the destruction of the Wall
About the Film
This 15-minute film is about a possible future for the state that was Palestine and is now Israel, and the illegally occupied territories around it. It envisages a single state shared by Israelis and Palestinians, with permanent homes for returning Palestinians, along with purpose-built resorts for Palestinians who do not wish to return permanently but want to create a bond with the land of their ancestors.
Many Palestinians still have the key to their family home.
The convicted war criminal Netanyahu in prison.
Because there is no documentary footage of the future, this film uses AI to generate sequences showing: the demolition of the Wall; the arrest of Binyamin Netanyahu; the colonisation of Israeli settlements by Palestinians; the return of Palestinians to their former villages; diaspora Palestinians returning regularly to specially built resorts; and a parliament where all inhabitants can have a say in the government of the new state.
The Palestine Museum zoom screening will be a world premiere.
