About the Film
This self funded, non profit, social impact documentary film, is about the New Zealand government's inaction over Gaza and it's failings to meet its obligations to the genocide convention. In a story driven by the voice of it's people vs those in power, it is unashamedly political, vital and urgent, in its critical challenge to a colonial settler block country, that supposedly lives up to its responsibilities as an international citizen by adhering to an international rules based order, whilst in practice doing anything but...

Dan Cleary is Exec Producer / Director of documentary feature 'Sitting On The Fence' a story of the New Zealand government’s complicity of inaction to the Gaza genocide.

Exec Producer / Co Producer /Co Director of documentary feature The Last Post - the final days of Wellington's Evening Post newspaper. Sold out at the 2003 New Zealand International Film Festival and held at the NZ Film Archive as an historic piece of work.

With 25yrs experience as an Actor, Writer, Producer and Director in film and television in New Zealand and Australia.
